Memphis KOA

I stayed here because it was the closest campground we can find during the April 8, 2024 Solar Eclipse. Check out that post for those highlights.

This KOA campground is near the highway so you will hear traffic noise. The spots were what you would expect. Gravel mostly. Some have concrete but my concrete was in need of repair.

They do have a dinner delivery service which was neat. Also a weekend breakfast in the rec hall. I do wish there was a trail or something to walk on. The gravel roads were just too muddy after the 3 days of storms to walk on.

Overall. I felt safe, the staff was friendly and it is a decent stop over. I’d recommend it with 4 stars.
