We just booked our trip to Emerald Beach RV Park in Navarre, Florida. We will be leaving from eastern North Carolina this Saturday for the trek down. I have a to-do list before we leave. I need to check all those things that I mentioned in other posts; tires, jacks, toliet wand and extra supplies just in case.
We chose this RV park because it was one of the only ones in this area that had availability for the week we wanted. It is close enough to our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter... and soon-to-be grandson :)
From there we will be heading to the Orlando area. We haven't booked there yet but will post when we have. We are looking at the KOA campgrounds in central Florida but open to others if they have the availability that we are looking for.
Even though we are going to Florida, and hope it is not too cold, we will be bringing our portable space heater. The heater in the RV works fine, but for some reason the AC fan blows real loud when running the heater.
I also have a pinhole is a water line that I have to repair. I will write that up in a separate post.
Excited for the trip, we will keep you posted and informed.
